Watergarden Workshop is a way to start your Spring with a fun DIY project. This workshop will teach you how to make a natural watergarden in your backyard. And it’s open to all yard sizes, levels of complexity, fish or no fish, etc. It takes place at the North Carolina Botanical Garden on Saturday, March 18, 2017.
Spring Skies is an event at Moorhead Planetarium to see what constellations and stars are only observable during the Spring, including the famous Big Dipper/Ursa Major and Hercules. It takes place on Wednesday, March 22, 2017.
The Carrboro Annual Kite Fly is a big event for everyone to fly their kites with fellow windy weather enthusiasts. Bring your own kite although a few will be available for anyone without one. It takes place at the Hank Anderson Community Park in Carrboro on Sunday, March 26, 2017.
Springtime on Nature Trail Hill is a hike through an authentic Piedmont hardwood forest to identify the local flowers that signify when Spring is starting. It is an easy walk and it is good for families. It takes place at the North Carolina Botanical Garden on Sunday, March 26, 2017.
Music on the Porch is a big outdoor music event at the Center for the Study of the American South. Come out and see bluegrass and folk musicians perform in the nice Spring outdoor weather on Thursday, March 30, 2017.
